Fat Burning Workout Plans That Work

by Frank Powell

Looking for a better shape? Most of us share this common goal to look and feel better. There are many different types of exercises that help in burning your fat, but only a few are very great at doing that. You are at the right place in order to understand some very effective methods that help you burn fat and get rid of the excess weight. If you make an attempt to do some of these exercises daily, then you will have no problem losing weight and burning that ugly fat.

Cardio is one of the most important factors when it comes to weight loss. You should always incorporate cardio into your exercise routine. However, make sure that you don’t spend hours at the gym progressing at a set speed on treadmills or stationary bikes. While this is effective for losing weight, research has proven that you can lose more weight in less time by running as hard as you can in short bursts.

You can do a few cycles of sprinting for 30 seconds and then fast jog for 2 minutes, instead of jogging on the treadmill for an hour. Thereby you can get a great workout in less time enabling your body to burn fat efficiently with intense periods of work out. This principle can be applied to any exercise. For example rather than just running you can perform it on a bike or in any other cardio exercise.

Since you have to exercise to stay in shape, you might as well choose a type of cardio that you like. That way you’ll be sure to have fun and get the most out of your workout. The great thing about cardio is that you have hundreds of fun options available. You can bike, rollerblade, go swimming, take a kickboxing class, or whatever else appeals to you.

Fat burning exercises don’t only come in the form of cardio. Certain weightlifting techniques are very conducive to fat burning. For example, a way to use weights to your advantage is to do circuit training. With circuit training, you do a series of weightlifting exercises for a set amount of time, say for thirty seconds. Then, without stopping to rest, you go straight into another exercise, then another, then another, until you reach a total of about ten or fifteen different exercises. After you finish the entire circuit, you may rest for a couple of minutes, then you do the whole thing again.

Circuit training is a great cardio exercise, and is effective for burning fat because the constant movement of your arms keeps your body in high stress, which means your breathing and your heart rate are high. As an added bonus, you’re getting muscle tone at the same time. Another great perk is that lifting weights helps you lose more weight because your body has to expend even more energy to build, heal, and maintain muscle. This means that the more muscle you have, the more calories and fat you burn to keep your body in good condition.

When choosing a fat burning exercise, make sure to always take your personal preferences into account, and do an exercise that you are comfortable with. Whatever you do for your cardio, consider doing your cardio in short, intense bursts, and incorporate circuit training when you work with weights for additional fat loss.
